Techy Tuesday is a weekly teacher linky party where you post anything techy that you use or want to use in your classroom on your blog. Then, you come back and link your blog post up at the bottom of this post in the linky tool.Grab the button above and link back to this post on your blog.
Ten Marks is a math site that I have found and is free for teachers during the school year. I am not sure why is specifically says this, but it does! It reminds me of Accelerated Math, but is a free version.  You can assign math practice by the Common Core Standards. You can also individualize the assignments and only assign it to specific kids.  You can run reports to find out what standards students are struggling with.
When a student logs in, they are able to see the assignment from the teacher, along with any messages from the teacher. When they click the assignment they want to begin, they are brought to the first question. The first question has some thought bubbles that explain what they need to do. There are also videos that can help the student understand the concept if they are not sure, or can't remember.

There are a variety of ways the students must answer the questions.  So far I have found: Fill in the blank, multiple choice, and picking which question goes with the answer.  Students get immediate feedback on how they did. TenMarks also gives the student a chance to go back and fix any mistakes and to watch the videos on the incorrect answers.

If students decide not to go back to fix their answers, they are able to look over their results in detail. They still have access to the video explanation from there. The explanations are very detailed and have illustrations that go along with them.

Back on the teacher screen, you will be able to see the results as well. This is a great tool for differentiation!
This program usually is 39.99 for family use at home, but for the summer is totally free! I am glad to see their are websites that are trying to help prevent the summer slide!
What new techy thing have you found! Link up below!
